BJ Cole - Transparent Music - Vinyl Album Brand new, never played and still sealed in the factory plastic seal Hannibal Records 1989 HNBL 1325
There are two main aspects to BJ Cole's thirty odd years in the music business. Firstly, as a unique innovator on his chosen instrument, the Pedal Steel Guitar, he has carved out a formidable reputation as a session musician. He has recorded with many of the great names in the Rock world, such as Elton John, Marc Bolan, Scott Walker, Beck, Bjork, Sting, REM, David Sylvian and many others.
Secondly, as a musical innovator and artist in his own right. BJ began as a founder member of the British post psychedelic band Cochise (three albums for United Artists). He then went on to write and record his seminal experimental album 'The New Hovering Dog' (United Artists 1973), which featured many of the leading British musicians of the day, including bassist Danny Thompson, drummer Mike Giles (King Crimson) and keyboardist Francis Monkman (Curved Air).
