The curiously-named Fetisch Park is actually one Carla Subito, who has an uncanny knack for crafting strangely pulsing fourth-world/ambient tone poems. Though comparisons to various experimentalists and drone-artists might be inevitable, the broad sound expanses that make up TROST seem to rip their qualities right out of black heart of the void itself. "Part 1" is penultimate ghostly space music. Alien pennywhistles rise out of the darkness intermingling with blasts of mutated didjeridu and chirping lifeforms not of this terrestrial gene pool. It's unnerving. "Part 3" is all shakers, rattles and haunted percussives, banging away on drums made by spiritual ancestors. The beats then simply slip back into the void from whence they came. This is aggressive ambient music, far too active to be ignored, far too involving to be forgotten.
