Early in 1985 Battlefield Band, Alison Kinnaird and Robin Morton were asked to prepare and record music for a television series about the work of the National Trust for Scotland (who own and protect a wide range of the natural and man-made heritage of Scotland).
This first album of soundtrack music (Music In Trust - Vol I) proved so popular that it was followed with a second volume
