Pacific Myth is an EP (extended play) by the Canadian progressive metal band Protest the Hero. Pacific Myth was released on November 18, 2016. It was initially released as a subscription series, with one song released each month over a six-month period. After the series was complete, the entire EP was made available.
The EP consists of six tracks, with each track representing a month in the subscription series. Protest the Hero utilized a crowdfunding model to finance the creation of Pacific Myth. Supporters who subscribed to the band’s subscription series received a new song each month and additional perks.
