Brand new, never played and still in the factory plastic
Miami is the second studio album by the American punk rock band The Gun Club, released in 1982. The Gun Club, led by the charismatic and enigmatic Jeffrey Lee Pierce, was known for its unique blend of punk, blues, and rockabilly influences.
The Miami album is notable for its raw and diverse sound, combining Pierce’s poetic and often dark lyrics with a mix of punk energy and rootsy musical elements. Some of the standout tracks on the album include ‘Carry Home,’ ‘Devil in the Woods,’ and ‘Watermelon Man.’
While not as commercially successful as some other releases of its time, Miami has gained retrospective acclaim for its innovative and genre-blurring approach. The Gun Club’s influence on the post-punk and alternative music scenes is evident, and ‘Miami’ remains a significant and influential album in the band’s discography.
