King Kobra – King Kobra III – Vinyl Record

King Kobra III by King Kobra is an album that represents a chapter in the band’s journey through the world of hard rock and glam metal. Released in 1988, it showcases King Kobra’s commitment to the genre’s energetic and guitar-driven sound.

King Kobra was known for their anthemic rock anthems and catchy melodies, and King Kobra III continues in this vein. The album features a mix of hard-hitting rock tracks, power ballads, and a sound that aligns with the glam metal sensibilities of the era.

Lyrically, the album explores themes that are characteristic of hard rock and glam metal, including love, desire, and the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. The lyrics often reflect the exuberance and hedonism associated with the genre.

King Kobra III, released in 1988, was the first and last album by the Edwards, Michael-Phillips, Northrup, Hart and Appice line-up of King Kobra. The album featured a strong selection of 1980s style mainstream metal. However, a lack of album sales resulted in the dissolution of the band.

King Kobra III never achieved the same level of commercial success as some of the iconic bands of the glam metal era, it remains a part of the larger tapestry of hard rock and glam metal music from the late 1980s. The album is appreciated by fans of the genre for its catchy tunes, soaring guitar solos, and nostalgic appeal, serving as a reminder of the exuberance and excess of the glam metal era.
