Can – Flow Motion, released in 1976, marks a fascinating and somewhat unexpected turn in the legendary German band’s trajectory. Known for their groundbreaking role in the krautrock movement—blending experimental rock, avant-garde electronics, and hypnotic grooves—Can used Flow Motion as a vehicle to explore lighter, more danceable rhythms, introducing elements of reggae, funk, and world music into their dense, often challenging sound.
