Live at the Warfield documents Phil Lesh and Friends stretching songs into extended, conversational performances. The two-CD and DVD configuration gives both an audio and visual view of a group rooted in the Grateful Dead songbook but open to jazz, rock and improvisational detours.
The sequence opens with “Shakedown Street,” continues through “Mr. Charlie” and “Pride Of Cucamonga,” and closes with “Passenger.”
