COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES is the debut EP from CORTIS, the five-member BIGHIT MUSIC group formed by Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. Its title is both an introduction and a working principle: the members present themselves as young creators interested in participating in writing, production, choreography, and visual ideas instead of staying inside one assigned role. The six-track physical program moves through hip-hop, pop, rock texture, and quieter atmospheric material while preserving the group’s restless, self-defining energy.

“GO!” opens like a declaration already in motion. Its trap-influenced rhythm, shouted accents, and quick exchanges establish the members as a unit before the lead single “What You Want” adds grunge-colored guitar and a more melodic demand for freedom. The songs share a refusal to wait for permission, but they express it differently: one is a burst of momentum, while the other turns desire into a hook broad enough for the voices and performance style to become individually recognizable.

“FaSHioN” treats style as authorship rather than decoration. References, rhythmic switches, and confident delivery turn clothing and image into a way of deciding how the group will be seen. “JoyRide” shifts the scale, using a more open and comparatively minimal arrangement to capture the freedom of moving without a fixed destination. Placed together, the tracks show why the EP’s genre changes are central to the concept. CORTIS is less interested in choosing one box than in testing how several can connect.

“Lullaby” brings a quieter, late-night feeling into the sequence before the alternate version of “What You Want” featuring Teezo Touchdown closes the physical track list. That collaboration reframes the lead song through an additional vocal personality and reinforces the group’s outward-facing ambitions. The compact runtime keeps every track tied to the debut statement: energy, visual identity, experimentation, and the tension between being carefully introduced by a major label and insisting on creative independence.
