Bakesale is the fifth studio album by the Westfield, Massachusetts American indie rock band Sebadoh. It was released on April 16, 1994, by Sub Pop Records. Sebadoh was formed in 1986 by Lou Barlow, Eric Gaffney, and Jason Loewenstein. They were known for their lo-fi sound and emotionally raw lyrics.
Bakesale is considered one of Sebadoh’s most influential and critically acclaimed albums. It features a mix of catchy indie rock songs, introspective acoustic tracks, and experimental sound collages.
