Computer Soup – Computer Soup – CD

A collaborative project involving Jan Jelinek and a Japanese electronic / improv trio called Computer Soup (members include Satoru Hori on trumpet, Osamu Okubo and Kei Ikeda on electronics/toys). In that collaboration, the group was known for using electronic toys, small oscillators / gadgets, and trumpet (Satoru Hori) in a minimal, texture‑driven sonic palette.

Jan Jelinek + Computer Soup project describes the origin of Computer Soup as beginning in Tokyo around 1996, initially performing with acoustic instruments on streets, then shifting toward more toy electronics and minimal devices.
