1999 & third venture from Lincoln Fong’s Polar, which he rechristened as Polar Aim. Fong has played with both The Jesus And Mary Chain and Cocteau Twins in the past, and, along with his brother Russell (who’s present here), provided the backbone to the cult shoegazing group Moose. Giving these two siblings a hand on the record are XTC’s Dave Gregory, Curve’s Steven Monti and drummer Vinnie Lammi (Cocteau Twins, The House Of Love’s Guy Chadwick). The album contains 11 melodic and well-crafted pop songs.
