The Joy of Sing-Sing is the debut album by the British indie pop band Sing-Sing. The album was released in 2001.
Sing-Sing was formed by Emma Anderson and Lisa O’Neill. Emma Anderson was previously a member of the shoegaze/dream pop band Lush, while Lisa O’Neill had previously been in the band The Belltower.
The Joy of Sing-Sing features a dreamy and ethereal pop sound, with lush vocals, atmospheric instrumentation, and catchy melodies. The album received positive reviews and garnered attention for its beautiful and melodic compositions.
Some of the tracks on The Joy of Sing-Sing include ‘Everything,’ ‘Feels Like Summer,’ ‘Tegan,’ and ‘Panda Eyes.’
Despite receiving critical acclaim, Sing-Sing disbanded after the release of their second album ‘Sing-Sing and I’ in 2005. Emma Anderson has since pursued other musical projects, and Lisa O’Neill has worked as a solo artist.
