Foxy Brown’s Ill Na Na is her debut studio album, released on November 19, 1996 via Def Jam Recordings. It arrived during a pivotal mid-’90s moment in hip-hop, when East Coast rap was regaining commercial dominance, and it positioned Foxy Brown as one of the era’s most visible female MCs.
