Full Time Men was a side project formed in the mid-1980s by members of the influential garage rock band The Fleshtones. The group included Fleshtones guitarist Keith Streng and bassist Robert Warren, along with drummer Bill Milhizer. They were joined by R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, adding a distinctive flair to their sound.

In 1985, Full Time Men released the EP Your Face, My Fist under the Closer Records label. This EP encapsulates the energetic and raw essence of garage rock, characterized by driving rhythms, gritty guitar riffs, and spirited vocals.
