Glasser – Interiors – Vinyl Record

Released on October 7, 2013, Interiors is the second studio album by American musician Glasser (Cameron Mesirow). Following her 2010 debut, Ring, this album showcases a shift towards a more polished electronic sound, reflecting Mesirow’s exploration of internal and external spaces.

Inspired by Rem Koolhaas’ 1978 book Delirious New York, Interiors delves into the relationship between physical spaces and emotional landscapes. Mesirow’s move from Los Angeles to Manhattan influenced the album’s thematic focus on architecture and personal introspection.

Co-produced with Van Rivers, known for his work with Fever Ray and The Knife, Interiors departs from the homespun warmth of Ring, embracing a colder, digital precision. The album features meticulous soundscapes that blend electronic elements with Mesirow’s ethereal vocals, creating an atmosphere of chilly digital perfection.

Interiors represents a significant evolution in Glasser’s artistic journey, blending architectural concepts with intricate electronic compositions. The album’s exploration of space—both physical and emotional—offers listeners a complex and immersive experience that reflects Mesirow’s growth as a musician and producer
