Lake Street Dive – Good Together – Light Blue Vinyl Record

$26.99

Good Together presents Lake Street Dive as a fully integrated pop ensemble whose technical skill serves warmth rather than display. Rachael Price’s commanding voice remains an obvious focal point, but the record depends equally on Bridget Kearney’s melodic bass, Mike Calabrese’s flexible drumming, Akie Bermiss’s keyboards and the guitar and vocals of James Cornelison. This listing is for the light blue vinyl record edition.

Lake Street Dive – Good Together – Light Blue Vinyl Record

Good Together presents Lake Street Dive as a fully integrated pop ensemble whose technical skill serves warmth rather than display. Rachael Price’s commanding voice remains an obvious focal point, but the record depends equally on Bridget Kearney’s melodic bass, Mike Calabrese’s flexible drumming, Akie Bermiss’s keyboards and the guitar and vocals of James Cornelison. The songs address partnership in several forms, moving from romantic intimacy to the larger work of living with other people.

The title track opens with a supple rhythm and stacked harmonies, making its argument for connection through the sound of a band listening closely. “Dance With a Stranger” is more immediate and playful, while “Far Gone” lets doubt enter beneath a polished surface. The production gives every instrument definition without separating the performers from one another; bass, keys, guitar and percussion interlock like parts of the same conversation.

“Get Around” and “Help Is on the Way” close the first side by expanding the album’s emotional range. The latter is especially effective because its reassurance avoids easy sentiment. Price can move from conversational restraint to a full-bodied chorus without making the transition feel calculated. The group harmonies support her while also reinforcing the album’s central idea that strength can be collective.

Side two begins with “Walking Uphill,” whose title accurately describes its sense of determined motion. “Better Not Tell You,” “Seats at the Bar” and “Twenty-Five” move between secrecy, observation and memory, giving the record a lived-in quality beyond its bright arrangements. “Party on the Roof” finishes with communal release, turning the final track into an invitation rather than a private conclusion.

This Fantasy Records edition is pressed on translucent light blue vinyl and carries catalog number FAN02206. It contains the complete eleven-song album in its standard sequence. The color complements the record’s airy cover and upbeat first impression, while the physical format encourages attention to the quieter writing and ensemble details that make Good Together more substantial than a collection of feel-good singles.

Brand new, never played and still sealed in the factory plastic
