Half Hour of Power is the debut extended play (EP) by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released in 2000.
Half Hour of Power was released on June 27, 2000. Despite its title, the EP actually has a running time of around 25 minutes. It served as an introduction to Sum 41’s energetic and punk-influenced sound.
The EP reflects Sum 41’s early punk rock and pop punk influences. It features fast-paced, guitar-driven tracks with catchy hooks and straightforward, energetic performances.
