Tori Amos – Diving Deep Live – Double Vinyl Records
Diving Deep Live captures Tori Amos during the 2022–23 Ocean to Ocean tour, backed by bassist Jon Evans and drummer Ash Soan. Rather than assemble obvious hits in familiar forms, Amos reshapes material from across her catalog through a trio that can pivot between atmospheric electronics, muscular rock rhythm, and the open space around her Bösendorfer piano.
“God,” “Ocean to Ocean,” “Amber Waves,” and the B-side “Daisy Dead Petals” establish the album’s refusal to separate canonical songs from deep cuts. Amos changes tempos, extends transitions, and lets the rhythm section discover new pockets inside arrangements that have already lived through multiple touring eras.
“Pandora’s Aquarium” and “Ruby Through the Looking-Glass” are especially expansive, while “Silent All These Years” retains its melodic clarity without simply recreating the studio recording. The performances emphasize how Amos uses piano attack, vocal inflection, and improvised connective passages to make each concert version specific.
The second record moves through “Climb,” an extended “Spring Haze,” “Code Red,” “Cornflake Girl,” and “Lady in Blue.” That arc travels from reflection to full-band force, ending with a long blues-inflected performance rather than a tidy greatest-hits finale.
This standard black double-vinyl edition contains the twelve-track, eighty-nine-minute LP program. The compact-disc and digital edition titled Diving Deeper adds four performances; those bonus tracks are not included here.
Brand new, never played and still sealed in the factory plastic
