Prayer Tower – Halo – Cassette
Halo is the sole album by the Canadian industrial band Prayer Tower, released in 1993 under Third Mind Records. The album showcases a fusion of industrial, electro, and Electronic Body Music (EBM) styles, reflecting the early ’90s industrial scene.
The album was recorded at Reaction Studios in Toronto and mixed at McClear Place Studios in Toronto and Creation Studios in Vancouver. The production was handled by Greg Reely, known for his work with other industrial acts.
Halo received attention for its danceable, uptempo EBM tracks, drawing comparisons to Ministry’s ‘Twitch’ era and Front Line Assembly’s ‘Tactical Neural Implant’ due to its use of samples and beats.
