Megadeth – Megadeth – Target Exclusive Compact Disc

Megadeth is the band’s self-titled final studio album, bringing Dave Mustaine’s long-running thrash-metal project to a deliberate close. The eleven-song record looks back at war, mortality, power, and personal reckoning while keeping the precision guitar work and tightly controlled aggression associated with the band.

The album opens with “Tipping Point” and moves through “I Don’t Care,” “Hey God?!,” “Let There Be Shred,” and “Puppet Parade.” The titles signal a record willing to be blunt, but the arrangements depend on detailed riff changes, sharp rhythmic turns, and the chemistry of a veteran touring band.

“Another Bad Day,” “Made to Kill,” “Obey the Call,” “I Am War,” and “The Last Note” carry the farewell theme more directly. A closing version of Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning,” which Mustaine co-wrote, connects the album’s ending with the earliest chapter of his career.

Brand new, never played and still sealed in the factory plastic
