The One Voted Most Likely to Succeed is the fifth studio album by Canadian hardcore punk band SNFU, released on May 4, 1995, through Epitaph Records.
Following their experimental 1993 release, Something Green and Leafy This Way Comes, SNFU sought to return to their hardcore punk roots with this album. Recorded between December 1994 and January 1995 at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver, the album was produced by the band alongside Dave Ogilvie, known for his work with Skinny Puppy. Guest vocalists Mike ‘Gabby’ Gaborno and Bif Naked contributed to the final track, ‘One Last Loveshove.’
The album showcases SNFU’s signature blend of melodic hardcore punk, characterized by energetic rhythms, catchy hooks, and the distinctive vocals of frontman Mr. Chi Pig (Ken Chinn). Lyrically, the tracks explore themes ranging from personal introspection to social commentary, delivered with the band’s trademark wit and intensity.
