No Doubt began as a third-wave ska band heavily influenced by British 2 Tone and Southern California punk scenes. Early tracks like “Trapped in a Box” show a band still finding its footing—horn-driven, energetic, and rooted in ska rhythms. But it was 1995’s breakthrough album Tragic Kingdom that propelled them into international fame.
