Final Straw is the third studio album by the Northern Irish-Scottish alternative rock band Snow Patrol.
Final Straw was released on August 4, 2003, in the United Kingdom and on March 30, 2004, in the United States.
The core members of Snow Patrol during the recording of Final Straw were Gary Lightbody (vocals, guitar), Mark McClelland (bass), Jonny Quinn (drums), Nathan Connolly (guitar), and Tom Simpson (keyboards). Mark McClelland left the band shortly after the release of this album.
Snow Patrol is known for their alternative rock and indie rock sound. Final Straw features a mix of anthemic rock and melodic ballads. The album includes some of Snow Patrol’s most well-known songs, including “Run,” “Chocolate,” and “Spitting Games.”
